If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the item within 30 days of your order date as long as the merchandise is unused and remains in its original packaging with hangtags still attached. The refund will not include the original shipping and handling changes that were paid. Your refund will be issued within 10 business days of receiving your return and will be applied against your original method of payment.
A return fee of $9.50 per item will be deducted from the return credit. As part of this fee, a free pre-paid FedEx return shipping label has been included in with your original shipping paperwork. To process a return, simply pack the item securely in the original shipping carton, remove any old labels and apply the free return shipping label to the box. If you elect to ship the item back via some other means, we recommend that you insure the package, that you pay for package tracking and that you keep the shipping receipt on hand until your credit is issued.
If your Backpacks.com order included a free gift with purchase, you MUST also return this item when returning your order. If you fail to return your free item, it's retail value will be deducted from your refund. As with all product returns, the item must be unused and in its original packaging.
If an item is received beyond the 30 day return period or is not in “returnable” condition as described above, the customer will not be eligible for refund or replacement and will be responsible to pay for the item to be shipped back to them. After 30 days, if payment is not received for the return shipping of the non-returnable goods, the product will be destroyed.
Note: Credit card companies vary on the time it takes for credits to appear on their customers' records, so please allow one or two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.
